Internal audits and Accessibility law
The firm represents individuals and bodies in auditing proceedings, whether internal audits or state audits by the State Comptroller. The firm also provides ongoing legal support to audited bodies in areas subject to future audit, and responds on behalf of clients to draft audits prepared by the relevant auditing body (State Comptroller, Ministry of Interior, accounting offices, etc.).
Over the past few years there has been a marked increase in the amount of government regulation passed on behalf of people with disabilities. State agencies, municipalities, public spaces and private bodies are now subject to accessibility requirements as well as civil and sometimes criminal sanctions for non-compliance.
CBA has significant experience in providing ongoing legal support to government and municipal agencies and private bodies in the field of accessibility, as well as litigating on their behalf in the case of civil or class-action suits. Additionally, the firm provides legal support to functionaries in proceedings before the Commissioner for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
